Screensaver cannot use Photo Library after macOS 13.3 update
Numerous users have voiced their concern that they cannot use Photo Library as a screensaver source after updating their Mac to macOS 13.3. For the unaware, in some screensavers [such as Photo Wall]. you have the option to set your own custom images. In this regard, you could [at least earlier] select Photo Library as a source, however, that seems to be no longer possible after the latest update.
For others, well, they cannot even select the Choose Folder option. Upon selecting that option and then choosing the desired image, the preview window does show the screensaver in action. But when they proceed ahead to apply it, the screensaver just shows a black screen. All this was working well and good till macOS 13.2, so the culprit is definitely the latest OS build. With that said, as far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are yet to acknowledge this issue, let alone give out any ETA for the rollout of a fix. As and when any of these two things happen, we will update this guide accordingly. In the meantime, the aforementioned workarounds are your best bet.
