Android 13 QPR3 Beta vs Android 14 Beta: The Battle of Beta
But all of a sudden they have now received the latest Android 14 Beta 1 OTA update! Soi why is this happening/ Well, instead of two running separate beta tracks related to Android 13 13 QPR3 and Android 14, Google has now opted for a single beta OTA route. So if you were running the Android 13 QPR3 Beta, then you’ll automatically receive the latest Android 14 Beta build. However, installing this latest beta is not compulsory. You could simply skip this Android 14 Beta 1 OTA and still remain on the QPR3 Beta track. This way you’ll be entitled to revive the next Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3 which is slated to be released next month [May].
Another intriguing thing to note is the fact that apart from skipping the Android 14 Beta 1 OTA, you could even skip the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3 and directly welcome the QPR3 stable build which will be released in June. If you do so, then it will even allow you to exit the beta program and get back to the stable build even without a data wipe. However, do note that Pixel 4A [non-5 G] is the sole expectation of this rule. Since it wouldn’t receive the Android 14 update, it is slated to be on the Android 13 QPR3 build. On that note, we hope we might have cleared the air surrounding the Android 13 QPR3 Beta vs Android 14 Beta.
